A Freeze Warning and Wind Advisory has been issued for parts of our area. Winds will continue to increase across the mountains. Wind gusts up to 50 mph can be expected across ridge tops and some gusty conditions could mix down into the valleys. Calmer winds are expected across parts of the Piedmont, where much of the freeze warning has been issued. Temperatures will fall to the lower 30’s overnight. The freeze warning is in effect from 2 AM – 10 AM Monday morning.

Dry high pressure will build Monday and Tuesday, allowing us to have plenty of sunshine and cool to mild conditions. A moist southerly flow will return to the area, allowing our temperatures to rise throughout the week, returning to above average by the end of the week.

Monday: Plenty of sunshine. Dry & Cool. High 62. W 6-8 mph.

Monday night: Mostly clear and chilly. Low 42. SW 3-7 mph.
