Derek James Co-Hosts The Humane Society Of Charlotte’s Ties And Tails Gala
CHARLOTTE, N.C. —Β WCCB’s Derek James co-hosted The Humane Society of Charlotte’s annual Ties & Tails Gala Saturday night in Uptown Charlotte.
The Gala was presented by the HSC, as well as Charlotte Skin and Laser, and Lake Norman Transportation.Β Kristen Miranda of WBTV was Derek’s co-host for the evening.
The Humane Society has worked for decades to improve the lives of companion animals through adoption, saying and neutering, education, and community outreach.
“We are glad to be able to celebrate the efforts we have on the community by sharing an evening with our donors, our volunteers and those that support our mission in the community. Without the support of those individuals, we would not be able to do the work that we strive to do and most importantly, save the animals the need our help,” said Donna Canzano Stucker VP of Development of the Humane Society of Charlotte.
The 2016 event raised almost $300,000 and with DJ as a host the 2017 event should be just as successful.
