Much Needed Rain Late Tuesday, Arctic Air Returns Late Week
Clouds will be on the increase Tuesday with highs remaining above average, in the low to mid 60s. Periods of rain will develop late Tuesday and taper off early Wednesday. Although no widespread heavy rain is expected, some areas could see a little over a half inch. Gradually improving conditions are expected Wednesday with cooler temperatures, highs in the 50s. Arctic air will return late in the week with highs in the upper 40s and overnight lows in the 20s. Below average temperatures will linger into the upcoming weekend.
