Small Group Working To Make Big Winter Weather Impact
Charlotte, NC — You don’t have to be part of a big organization to make a difference this holiday season.
A few people in Charlotte are working to make inter safe and more comfortable for anyone who needs it in the city.
Heads Up Salon in NoDa on E. 36th St. organized a winter weather clothing donation spot.
Bring winter weather scarves, coats, gloves, hats and blankets there.
“We would like to just give back, back to the community. When you sit and think, we think about the small things, we are truly grateful, and we think about the ones who don’t have,” said Janice Easterling.
Tuesday, Dec. 5, they will hand them out to homeless and less fortunate in Uptown at Trade St. in front of Rock Bottom Cafe.
