Wilson’s World: Supporting the Salvation Army and their Red Kettles

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson has always been a big cheerleader for the Salvation Army and all of their great work.  Today he was at the Harris Teeter on Johnston Rd in Ballantyne to shine a light on the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign and the wonderful volunteers who stand by these kettles and ring the bell.

Wilson talked with volunteers who are part of the Red Kettle campaign about why they volunteer and how they are always in need of volunteers.  And some of the volunteers have a lot of fun while ringing their bell.  The Salvation Army still needs volunteers to ring those bells at the Red Kettles.  Go to registertoring.com and help out the Salvation Army.

If for some reason you are not able to donate directly into a Red Kettle, you can go online and donate at their website HERE.

All of the money that is donated to the Red Kettle campaign in Charlotte stays in Charlotte to help local families during the holidays.  The Salvation Army Angel Tree, Homeless Services and Senior Citizen Housing are only a few of the Salvation Army programs that need your support.

Harris Teeter has been a major partner with and supported the Salvation Army and the Red Kettle Campaign for many years.  They have been a major part of the community for many more.

If you are running around like crazy this holiday and need a little help, Harris Teeter is there to make your grocery shopping a little easier with their online ordering and curbside pickup.  Check out their website at harristeeter.com for more information.
