Increasing clouds Wednesday with scattered showers and areas of drizzle possible, mostly west of Charlotte. Highs will struggle to reach the low 50s. Mostly cloudy skies will linger throughout the remainder of the week with highs in the 50s Thursday, 60s Friday. On and off periods of rain are expected for the second half of the week with a few embedded thunderstorms possible Friday afternoon. Dry conditions along with colder temperatures will return over the weekend.
