Wilson’s World: Previewing the MLK Day Events at the Harvey B. Gantt Center
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Harvey B. Gantt Center will be celebrating the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., today with panel discussions, art-making workshops, guided tours, film screenings, and more. They opened the doors early this morning for Wilson to talk about everything going on today at the center and the many activities, exhibits and collections that are part of the center every day. Today’s activities begin at 9am and continue through 5pm. Admission is free, but registration for some of the events is recommended.
The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts+Culture at Levine Center for the Arts is located in Uptown Charlotte at 551 South Tryon Street. For information on the center, including days and hours of operation as well as exhibits please go to their website ganttcenter.org.
