Wilson’s World: At Diamonds Direct Previewing the Alzheimer’s Association 2nd Annual Memory Gala
The Second Annual Memory Gala will be held on Saturday, March 10th.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was at Diamonds Direct in South Park this morning where he was with members of the Alzheimer’s Association – Western Carolina Chapter and rep for Diamonds Direct while discussing their Second Annual Memory Gala which will be held in March.
The Western Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association serves 49 counties in North Carolina. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. They serve over 100,000 people in the state that suffer with Alzheimer’s.
While at Diamonds Direct Wilson browsed their beautiful jewelry to help us find just the right gift for that special someone for Valentine’s Day. Diamonds Direct will be donating some of these beautiful items to the gala to be auctioned off during the event.
The Memory Gala will be held on Saturday, March 10th at the Westin Hotel. The black tie optional event still has tickets and tables still available. Sponsor packages are also still available. There will be silent auctions as well as live music. The event will honor former NFL Great Marty Schottenheimer (who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s) and his wife Pat. More information on the event as well as ticket purchases can be found at charlottememorygala.org.
