Wilson’s World: Patchwork Tales Storytelling at York County Library

ROCK HILL, S.C. –  The York County Library will be bringing the Patchwork Tales Storytelling Festival back to the library in March.  Wilson was at the library joined by Library Director Jason Hyatt, Marketing Manager Stacy Williams and the Children’s Services Manager Ginger Sawyer to talk about the upcoming event, the importance of the event and the importance of reading.

The Patchwork Tales Storytelling Festival has returned back to the York Country Library after being away for a few years.  And the best part is that all of the events open to the public are free.

Not only will there be professional storytellers at the event, but also music, puppets and four-time Grammy Award winner David Holt  will be storytelling and performing.

There will also be performances going on at schools throughout the York County area.  Wilson will even be emceeing some of the events!

The Patchwork Tales Storytelling Festival is funded by the York County Library and the Friends of the York County Library.  The festival runs March 9th and 10th.
