CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is dead following a single-vehicle accident in east Charlotte Saturday morning.
The accident happened in the 2800 block of Central Avenue near Logie Avenue around 2:48 a.m. Saturday morning.
The CMPD says Brion Michael Reed, 27, died when is 2016 Smart Car ran off the road and struck a tree. Reed was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.
Alcohol and speed are considered factors in the crash.
