BELMONT, N.C. — A Belmont Abbey college student is facing sex offense charges. Police say a student reported being sexually assaulted by another student on campus.
After an investigation, Zachary Harvath was charged with first degree forcible sex offense. Harvath was arrested and is currently in the Gaston County Jail.
Police say this case is believed to be an isolated incident and not a random act.
