SHERRILLS FORD, N.C. — Deputies say they found marijuana, wax, guns and much more after conducting a search warrant at a home in Sherrills Ford.
Deputies responded to a disorderly conduct call on March 6th at a home on Navajo Trail. While on the call, officials say they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the home.
A search warrant was obtained and deputies found the following items during the search:
- Two pounds of marijuana
- Over one half pound of marijuana wax
- Acid
- Two firearms
- Numerous shipping containers
- $2,000 cash
- Moonrocks (cannabis buds dipped in hash oil and sprinkled with kief, marijuana shake and marijuana wax)
Investigators say they believe the items seized at the residence are evidence of a large scale marijuana distribution ring in the Catawba County area.
