CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is dead after a shooting in east Charlotte Monday morning.
The shooting happened on Firelight Lane near the intersection of N Sharon Amity and Albemarle Road just before 8am. Police say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. He was pronounced dead on the scene by Medic.
Investigators say a female involved in the shooting is currently being interviewed by detectives. This is a developing story. Information will be updated as it arrives.
