Much Colder And Windy Wednesday, Mountain Snow
Wednesday will be much colder with highs struggling to warm through the 40s, it will feel much colder with gusty winds. In Charlotte, morning rain showers, mixing in with snow at times, will taper off with mostly cloudy skies expected during the afternoon. In the mountains, on and off snow showers are expected throughout the day and will not taper off until early Thursday. Mountain communities can expect 3-6 inches of snow, the highest totals will be at the highest elevations. Skies will clear Thursday and Friday with below average temperatures, highs in the 50s.
