Missing Charlotte Man Found Dead Of Apparent Suicide

CMPD says Jonathan Smith’s body was found around 4:30pm Tuesday. At this time, officials believe his death was a suicide.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need your help locating a missing man in Charlotte.  Jonathan Smith was reported missing by his family on April 2, 2018.

According to family members, Smith has not been heard from since April 1st.  His family is very concerned with his safety and wellbeing.

Smith is described as a 33-year-old white male, 5’8″ tall, 145lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen on Steele Creek Road.

Smith drives a gold, 1992 Honda Accord with severely faded paint and NC tag number: DCA-6295.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
