Reward Offered For Info On 2007 Murder In Huntersville

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — The Huntersville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the people involved in the murder of a 32-year-old man in 2007.

Police say Courtney Deshawn Saunders was murdered on April 7, 2007 at his home on Statesville Road.  Investigators say two armed assailants forced their way into Saunders’ home and murdered him.

One suspect is described as a black male, 6′ tall, medium braids, wearing a black jacket and armed with a handgun.  The second suspect is described as a black male, late 20s, 5’8″ tall, stocky build, shaved head, wearing a purple or black hoodie and armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects in this case will receive up to a $1,000 reward.
