CMS Opens Calendar Survey For Families, Community Members And Employees

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Calendar Committee has developed two options for the 2019-2020 academic calendar and has launched a survey so that families, community members and employees can indicate a preference.

The calendar survey opened April 11 and will close on April 17 at 11:59 p.m.

Calendar committee members will tally the results and send them to the superintendent, Dr. Clayton Wilcox, for review. He will make any changes that he thinks are needed based on employee and community feedback, then present a calendar recommendation to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education. The Board will vote on the 2019-2020 calendar in May.
