PHILADELPHIA, P.A. — Former Panthers cornerback Daryl Worley was arrested Sunday morning after being found passed out in a vehicle impeding traffic on a highway, according to reports.
Reports indicate Worley, who was arrested around 6 a.m. near the Eagles training facility, was also tased by police after becoming combative. A gun was reportedly found on the scene during the arrest.
Worley was Carolina’s third-round pick in 2016 and started 14 games for the Panthers last season. He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for wide receiver Torrey Smith in March.
It is unclear what charges Worley faces at this time.
