Wilson’s World: It’s Spirit Night at Moe’s for Classroom Central
Moe's Southwest Grill Sprit Night for Classroom Central is this Thursday, April 19th from 4pm until 9pm at area locations.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson always enjoys visiting with Classroom Central when they are gearing up for a new donation drive with one of their sponsors. Today he was joined by members of Classroom Central and Brittany Wakefield of Moe’s Southwest Grill to talk about their upcoming Spirit Night at Moe’s to benefit Classroom Central.
This Thursday, April 19th from 4pm until 9pm stop into one of the 7 area Moe’s for dinner and leave your receipt in the Classroom Central bucket before you leave. Moe’s will donate 20% of the receipt to Classroom Central. Moe’s area locations that are participating are: Epicentre at 210 E Trade St; Southpark at 4724 Sharon Rd; Carmel Village at 7510 Pineville-Matthews; Northlake at 9335 Center Lake Dr; Fort Mill at 1751 Pleasant Rd; Lake Wylie at 312 Bulkhead Way in Clover and the Gastonia location at 3908 E Franklin Blvd.
Wilson went outside to take a look at Classroom Central’s new mobile store. The store can now go to the schools and the teachers to deliver the much needed supplies to schools in CMS area as well as the additional counties. The mobile store truck is available for sponsorship by companies or organizations. Find out more information on the mobile store and sponsorships of it at the Classroom Central website.
The mission of Classroom Central is to give students who live in poverty the school supplies they need to succeed in the classroom. Classroom Central covers schools in Charlotte Mecklenburg, Gaston, Iredell/Statesville, Union, the City of Kannapolis, and Lancaster, SC. Classroom Central is always in need of school supplies. Donation hours are Monday – Thursday 8am until noon. If you can’t make it by during those hours, give them a call (704-377-1740) and they will schedule a time for you to come drop your items off. They are asking the public as well as companies to help them out. Classroom Central is located at 2116 Wilkinson Blvd in Charlotte.
