Wilson’s Moment Of Good: Sgt. Rob Burns Of The Tega Cay Police Department
TEGA CAY, S.C. — Wilson spent the morning in Tega Cay to hang out with the kids at Camp Cadet. He learned about the camp and what it offers. At Camp Cadet, young kids establish bonds with first responders and get educated on the different duties they carry out each day. During his time at Camp Cadet, Wilson presented his latest ‘Wilson’s Moment of Good’ award to Sgt. Rob Burns.
Sgt. Burns has worked hard to organize Camp Cadet that’s now in its third year. He also spends a lot of time ensuring the kids get the most out of the camp. He does a lot of community service work, coordinates with schools and plays a heavy role in National Night Out in Tega Cay. He was awarded $500 to keep the camp going and help it be even more successful.
Sgt. Burns was so grateful as Wilson and the Chief praised him for all his efforts and dedication.
