Wilson’s World: Taking a Ride Around Charlotte Motor Speedway’s New ROVAL Track

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson has the need ROVAL™  speed today.  This morning Wilson took the WCCB live truck and hit the new ROVAL™  track at Charlotte Motor Speedway before the real drivers test the course later this morning.

With 17 turns in a 2.28 mile course ROVAL™  will be the first road course race in NASCAR playoffs history when the checkered flag drops on September 30th at the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400.  Drivers will rubbin’ and racin’ on one of the most challenging races on the schedule.

Today from 9am until 5pm fans can come out to CMS for ROVAL™ Test Fest to witness racing’s brightest stars completing high-speed trial runs around the new ROVAL™.  Fan can also enjoy food and drinks, live music and games, mechanical bull rides and a spectacular view of the on-track action from Whisky River, located at Gate 6. Fans will also receive a voucher for FREE admission into tonight’s Bojangles’ Summer Shootout races, which will begin at the conclusion of the ROVAL™  test.

Drivers who are tentatively scheduled for the Test Fest are Kyle Busch, Erik Jones, Ryan Blaney,Joey Logano, Aric Almirola, Alex Bowman, William Byron, A.J. Allmendinger, Ty Dillon, Jamie McMurray, Austin Dillon, Trevor Bayne, Clint Bowyer, Alex Bowman, and Chris Buescher.
