Scattered Downpours With Localized Flooding Possible Through Friday
Scattered downpours are likely through Friday with the best coverage of storms during the afternoon and evening. With that said, in a tropical airmass an isolated downpour is possible at any time. Although a severe storm or two cannot be ruled out, the biggest threat this week will be localized flooding. All areas have the potential to see flooding, it just depends on where the storms develop and where they train. The threat for flooding will increase as the week progresses and conditions become more saturated. With the clouds and enhanced rain chances, temperatures will remain below average, highs in the mid 80s. Conditions will gradually improve over the weekend.
