Wilson’s World: Getting Ready for the Liverpool Football Club Season at Murphy’s Kitchen & Tap
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was kicking off football season today, but it was his kind of football…known to some people as soccer. He was at Murphy’s Kitchen & Tap in Uptown Charlotte where the newly formed The Carolina Reds were getting hyped up to cheer on their team the Liverpool Football Club of the Premiere League this Sunday.
The Carolina Reds is a family friendly group that was created by lifetime Liverpool Football Club fans to support their team right here in North and South Carolina. On game day the members of the club meet up at Murphy’s to show their “Reds” pride, enjoy the game and have a lot of fun.
The Carolina Reds have become involved in their community as well. They have been working hard supporting the Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage bringing awareness and support for domestic violence prevention. Earlier this year with support of the Anfield Shop The Carolina Reds held a fundraiser for the foundation. Today a check was presented to JKFFC from the proceeds that were raised from the event.
The Jamie Kimble Foundation works with Foundation grantees and community partners to bring the most effective and innovative intimate partner violence prevention programs to the public. Find out more about the Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage at their website jkffc.org.
