Wilson’s World: Going Behind the Scenes with the Knights at BB&T Ballpark

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Knights will be kicking off a week of home baseball games in Uptown Charlotte beginning tonight at 7pm.  But before they do, Wilson went behind the scenes at BB&T Ballpark to show us what goes into getting the team and the ballpark ready before the first pitch.  He also goes behind the mic into the control room and takes over.  Luckily only the ballpark employees had to hear him.

He was trolling through the Knights’ dugout when he was joined for more mischief on the field by actor Patrick Renna from the movie The Sandlot (who also has some fun with Wilson before the Knight’s recent “The Sandlot Knight”).

Wilson took us into the team store where fans can find great memorabilia, hats and tees as well as get their own baseball jersey.  They also have an online store where fans can purchase everything from their team caps and jerseys to items for the home and office.  Find the link on the Knights’ website.

The Knight’s host the Buffalo Bisons tonight through Wednesday.  From Thursday thru Sunday the 19th they take on the Louisville Bats.  Check out the Knights’ website for more information on their schedule, team info and BB&T Ballpark info at charlotteknights.com.
