ROCK HILL, S.C. — Rock Hill Police are investigating a fatal wreck that happened Friday morning.Β Officers were dispatched to the accident around 7:30am on Ogden Road.Β Upon arrival, officers found a car had struck the back of a tractor trailer.
Police say the driver of the car that struck the back of the tractor trailer died in the crash. The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 27-year-old Erin Clark.
Three children who were also in the vehicle were injured.Β One child had to be airlifted to a hospital in Charlotte.Β The other two were taken to the Levine Children’s Hospital by ambulance.
Autopsy and toxicology results are pending at this time.Β Check back for updates.
