MONROE, NC — The City of Monroe Water Resources Construction Division will be replacing approximately 420 linear feet of existing cast iron water main on South Hayne Street (from East Morrow Avenue to East Houston Street). This improvement will enhance water service to the customers in the area and the proposed Center Theater Project.
Construction activities are scheduled to start on Sept. 11, and anticipated to conclude on or about Oct. 8.
During the construction of the new water main, a temporary disruption in traffic may be expected. All damaged/disturbed items will be restored or replaced at the end of the project.
