YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Visit York County is partnering with Phenom Hoops to host the inaugural Visit York County Battle at the Rock basketball showcase on November 30 and December 1, 2018 at Nation Ford High School.
The Visit York County Battle at the Rock showcase will feature two nights of the premier high school basketball teams in the country.
There will be 19 teams competing in the inaugural Visit York County Battle at the Rock showcase representing the following high schools: Nation Ford High School (host school), Oak Hill Academy, IMG Academy, Porter Gaud, Christ School, Dorman High School, Northwood Temple Academy, Lower Richland High School, Northside Christian Academy, Oak Hill Academy Red, Irmo High School, York Comprehensive High School, Byrnes High School, Rock Hill High School, Northwestern High School, United Faith Academy, York Preparatory Academy, Miller School and Gray Collegiate.
“Visit York County is excited to host the inaugural Battle at the Rock basketball showcase,” said Andy Clinton, VP of Sales for Visit York County. “This showcase is a great opportunity to bring some of the top players in the country to our area and allow the local community to experience that talent right here on our York County basketball courts.”
The Visit York County Battle at the Rock is presented by Phenom Hoops. Team matchups and ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
