LENOIR, N.C. — Deputies say they arrested an accused drug dealer in connection to an overdose death in Caldwell County.
Dorian Roshad Ferguson, 31, is accused of supplying 48-year-old Michael Todd Hollar with drugs that ultimately lead to his death.
Ferguson has been charged with 2nd degree murder in the case. Investigators say Hollar consumed a lethal amount of Fentanyl which caused his death on August 3, 2017. It was determined that Ferguson provided the drug to Hollar, according to a news release.
Officials say Ferguson is currently serving a prison sentence related to an arrest for possession of Fentanyl that also happened on August 3, 2017.
He was given a $500,000 bond on the new 2nd degree murder charge.
