New Clues Released In Case Of Girl Who Disappeared 18 Years Ago In Shelby

SHELBY, N.C. — Investigators have released new clues in the Asha Degree case.  The 9-year-old was reported missing in February 2000 in Cleveland County.  She was last seen by truckers walking down Highway 18.

The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who owned or knew someone that owned this New Kids On The Block t-shirt to call the Sheriff’s Office.

They are also asking anyone who owned or knew someone that owned the library book McElligot’s Pool by Dr. Suess to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
