Mooresville, NC — It has been one week since a Woodlawn School teacher and Davidson College graduate vanished in Mexico. Patrick Braxton-Andrew teaches Spanish at the Mooresville school.
The website says he worked for Davidson College in Peru study abroad program for two years and currently runs his own tutoring business.
They believe he went on a walk in the area around Urique, Mexico and got lost or hurt. The hotel owner says he never returned from his walk.
Someone says they saw him walking near a ranch that afternoon.
The U.S. embassy in Mexico City was scheduled to meet with the family last week.
A Facebook page says increasing numbers of state and local authorities along with the local indigenous community continue to search. At one point, they searched the Copper Canyon community.
