Wilson’s World: At SouthPark Mall Kicking off the 2018 Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It is hard to believe that Christmas is only 7 weeks away and now is the time to open our hearts out to others more than ever. Again this year WCCB and Subway have partnered up to work with the Salvation Army for the 2018 The Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree and Virtual Angel Tree to help children in need this Christmas.
Brent Rinehart with the Salvation Army and Wendell Rowell with Subway joined Wilson at SouthPark Mall this morning kicking off the 2018 Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree and getting us revved up for the upcoming Stuff the Truck event next month.
WCCB Subway-Salvation Army Virtual Angel Tree went live on WCCB’s website Monday and a lot of wonderful people have already adopted a child for Christmas. If you want to choose an Angel from real tree, you can stop in at any of the Charlotte area Subway locations and choose an Angel. Once you have chosen an Angel (on-line or at a Subway) and purchased their gifts, visit the WCCB Subway Salvation Army Virtual Angel Tree link HERE to find a drop-off location near you.
It takes a lot of people coming together to make sure the The Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree and the Stuff the Truck event are a big success. Acosta Heating & Cooling came by again this year and Andrew Edwards with Acosta presented a large check to help The Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree. Tripp Moore with Two Men and a Truck talked with Wilson about working with him on the upcoming Stuff the Truck event in December.
