According to the Concord Police Department, at about 1:37am that Saturday morning, officers responded to reports of shots being fired in the area of 351 Union Cemetery Road.

Police say someone from Charlotte had rented the business space at that location and promoted a party.

Arriving officers encountered a large crowed and people fighting in the parking lot.  As officers worked to clear the scene, they located two people who had been shot and severely wounded.  One victim had been shot in the leg and the other victim had been shot in the back.

Those two victims were transported to Atrium Health-Northeast, where they were treated for their injuries.
