Wilson’s World: Sneaking in Early at The 2018 Charlotte Auto Show

This year's Charlotte Auto Show begins at noon today and runs through Sunday, Novemer 18th at 9pm.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Each year Wilson heads out to the Charlotte Auto Show the morning of opening day to give us a look at the new vehicles for 2019 as well as enjoy family fun and events.

The show kicks off at noon today at the Charlotte Convention Center and runs through Sunday at 6pm. More than 30 auto manufacturers will have their newest vehicles on exhibit at this year’s show. On Saturday and Sunday licensed drivers can ride and drive that dream car.

Santa will be at the show Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until 4pm. Kids can talk with Santa and enjoy activities such as face painting and live music.  On Sunday mascots from local sports team and entertainers will drop in to have some fun with the kids.  New this year is an interactive area specially designed for families featuring a luxury video game truck and an interactive display of Charlotte’s emergency response vehicles.

Again this year potential buys can try before they by with the show’s Ride & Drive events. Chevrolet, Ford, Mazda and Toyota will have select 2019 models to drive Thursday thru Sunday at this year’s show. This program allows consumers to get behind the wheel of various models and take them for a spin. Rules and regulations will apply.

Check out their website at charlotteautoshow.com for show times, ticket prices and more information on all the events going on during the show. Kids 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult get into the show free.
