2 Convicted Felons Charged With Trafficking Heroin, Meth In Burke County

ICARD, NC — Burke County deputies say two convicted felons are facing multiple charges, including drug trafficking, after a November 14th traffic stop.

Deputies stopped the vehicle around 2am. According to officials, both the driver, Devan Enloe, 31, of Hudson, and the passenger, Terry Snipes, 45, of Connelly Springs, were listed as convicted felons.

Inside the vehicle, deputies reportedly found and seized two pistols, a Remington shotgun and several controlled substances, which included a trafficking amount of heroin and methamphetamine.

Each suspect is charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Enloe is also charged with Trafficking Schedule II Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Simple Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Driving While License Revoked, and Fictitious/Altered Title/Registration Card/Tag.

Snipes is additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Distribute Schedule II Methamphetamine, Simple Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Simple Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
