CHARLOTTE, N.C — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the man who was shot and killed at a motel on North Tryon street early Sunday morning.
CMPD says Justin Fuller, 25, was fatally shot around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the Holiday Motel located at 6001 North Tryon Street.
Officers found Mr. Fuller suffering from a gunshot wound in a motel room and MEDIC pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators believe Fuller had been visiting the motel room when a disagreement occurred. Detectives say the suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Demarco Crawford, then left the motel premises. When Crawford returned, police say he knocked on the motel room door and shot Mr. Fuller when he opened the door.
Crawford is charged with Murder.
