A Mother’s Plea To Help Find Who Murdered Her Son

CHARLOTTE, NC. — A mother’s plea to help find the person who murdered her son. The family of a young man killed during a drive-by shooting in West Charlotte is desperate for answers.

It’s been nearly three months since the murder of 20-year-old Juordan Hill and CMPD is searching for leads. The family tells WCCB Charlotte’s Alexandra Elich they will not rest until there is justice for Juordan.

They’ve increased the reward for information leading to an arrest to $7,000.

“I miss my baby, and that’s all I can say. I miss that baby,” say Juordan’s mother Lajuana Hill.

An empty chair this year at the Thanksgiving dinner table where Juordan would have sat. A painful reminder of a son and a brother whose life was cut short.

“For myself, my husband and my family, his siblings, this is just one of many that we have to deal with. This was very hard for me, very, very, very hard for me.”

Labor day —  the day that changed Lajuana’s life forever. Juordan and some friends were outside some apartments on Pruitt Street around eight o’clock at night, when someone started shooting from a passing car. Juordan – stuck during the gunfire – ran – and died inside his friend’s apartment.

“This is an uncureable pain. This pain takes over your mind, body and soul. There’s no cure for this pain.”

Nearly three months later, Hill’s mother is begging for any information that will get the killer off the streets.

“They did it once, I promise you they’ve done it before and will do it again. It’s not going to stop until somebody stops them.”
