Wilson’s World: Celebrating Charlotte’s 250th Anniversary

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Uptown Charlotte is all decked out to party today.  It’s the 250th anniversary of the Queen City and they are celebrating!  Wilson was in the middle of Uptown where he was dressed old school getting ready for today’s events.  He also seemed to be making up a few interesting stories as the morning progressed.

Wilson was joined by Adam Rhew with Center City Partners talking about some of the events that will be happening in Uptown today. There will be food trucks and live music.  Everyone can enjoy fun activities at libraries, schools and the Square at Trade & Tryon. And, of course there will be an anniversary cake!  Charlotteans can celebrate their city’s history and it’s bright future.

Also joining Wilson was Isabelle with Johnson & Wales University who is one of the students helping prepare the anniversary cake.
