Wilson’s World: The Truck Has Been Stuffed! Day 2 Of The 2018 Subway Salvation Army Stuff the Truck Event
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The truck has OFFICIALLY BEEN STUFFED!
Wilson camped out in the valet parking area in front of the Cheesecake Factory all day Thursday through Friday morning encouraging people to drop off toys for the angels.
We must say- Wilson, residents in the community and all the organizations involved, spent countless hours making this event happen. All their efforts proved successful with a truck full of bikes, stuffed animals, balls and lots more! Huge thanks to everybody who donated their time and brought new, unwrapped toys to help stuff the truck.
And now- a number of deserving children will get to have Christmas this year.
The Angel Tree program helps families in need by providing gifts that will be distributed to families over the holidays.
Special thanks to Two Men and a Truck, Subway, SouthPark Mall and Acosta Heating & Cooling for their partnership in the Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree Stuff the Truck event providing the truck, the space and the heaters.
The 2-day holiday event was filled with surprise appearances, a life-size snow globe, free prizes from the CW Street Team, a live performance by the School of Rock, delicious food and lots of laughs and smiles.
Join WCCB and Wilson next year if you didn’t get the chance to this year. We’re always ready to give back and have fun doing it!
