Stolen Dog Returned Safe, But Lenoir Police Still Searching For Alleged Thief

LENOIR, NC — Police are still searching for the man seen on surveillance video stealing a dog from a yard in Caldwell County.

Lenoir Police say the dog has been returned safely to the owner, but the suspect is still at large.

The Lenoir Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a person of interest regarding Larceny of a Dog, as well as to locate the dog. In the surveillance video posted to Lenoir Police Department’s Facebook page, the male suspect is seen walking with another dog along a fenced in yard. A dog inside the fence follows the man to the corner, at which point he pulls the dog over the fence and walks off with it.
