Freezing Drizzle Possible Early Wednesday, Milder And Wet Wednesday Afternoon

Temperatures will drop to near freezing which could create some slick spots early Wednesday. Although significant icing is not expected, only a light glaze could cause some issues for the morning commute. The best chance for freezing drizzle will be north and west of i-85. Areas of drizzle and scattered showers are expected Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s. A steady rain will develop Wednesday night with lows in the low 50s. Mostly dry conditions will return Thursday with highs in the mid 50s. Cold and dry conditions are expected Friday through the upcoming weekend.
