Wilson’s World: Talking Cars and Coffee at the Charlotte Motor Speedway

Cars and Coffee will join Speedway Children's Charities for the upcoming Laps for Charity Event on Saturday, February 16th on the Oval at CMS.

CONCORD, N.C. – Wilson was back at Charlotte Motor Speedway this morning where he was previewing the upcoming Cars and Coffee and Speedway Children’s Charities event Laps for Charity.

Cars and Coffee was founded in 2009 and is a casual monthly gathering of auto enthusiasts that get together to share a common enthusiasm for all things that spit, sputter, and roar! There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy; classics, exotics, hot rods, muscle cars, and motorcycles everyone welcome! It is a family friendly event that can be enjoyed by all.

For the first time Cars and Coffee will be bringing their classic rides and gathering to CMS on Saturday, February 16th to raise funds for Speedway Children’s Charities.  Fans who are 18 years and older will get the chance to take a three lap cruise around the Charlotte Motor Speedway oval in their personal car from 9:00am – 1:00pm for a $25 donation to SCC.   (Motorcyles and convertibles will not be allowed to ride the oval.) Find out more about the track ride or to register HERE.

Before he left the speedway Wilson and camerman Mike piled into one of those classic cars and took a ride around the speedway.
