Big Name Performers Coming To Charlotte For NBA All-Star Weekend
CHARLOTTE, NC. — NBA All-Star weekend is a week away. More than 150,000 fans will descend on Charlotte. They’re coming for the games and the parties, which are bringing some big name performers coming to the Queen City.
Migos, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane just a few of the artists performing at parties around Charlotte during NBA All-Star weekend.
Blair Richardson is the owner of Ticket Preserve. He’s sold hundreds of tickets for the All-Star game, events and parties.
“Parties are expensive. If you want to party you have to pay. Pay to play,” says Richardson.
There are dozens of day parties. An event at Bank of America Stadium put on by several entertainment groups, Including King Entertainment Events and The Sol Kitchen.
“Grits and biscuits, Art of noise, and Terrance J and some DJ’s who are going to be here,” says event coordinator for The Sol Kitchen Michael Kitchen.
You can find tickets for the All-Star game on Stub Hub and Ticket Preserve. They range from $600 to more than $20,000.
“The market kind of opened around $1,200 to get in the door and now people are paying anywhere from $3,000 and up to sit in the lower level,” explains Richardson.
