CMPD Charges Two With Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have charged two suspects with breaking into and stealing from multiple cars in south Charlotte.

Dana Denena, 26, and Faith Tillman, 25, have each been charged with Breaking and Entering into Motor Vehicle, Financial Transaction Card Theft, Financial Transaction Card Fraud, and Larceny.

The crimes reportedly happened on January 20th, 23rd and 26th in the areas of Cedar Trail Lane, Cedar Circle Drive and Cedar Point Lane. Police say the suspects broke into the cars and stole property from within.

Police say Denena and Tillman were both already in Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office custody on unrelated charges when warrants for the break-ins were issued.

Mecklenburg County Jail records show Denena has been arrested 38 times since 2016. Tillman has been arrested 21 times in that same period.
