Silver Alert Cancelled After Missing Kannapolis Woman Found Safe

The Silver Alert issued for a missing Kannapolis woman has been cancelled.

The Concord Police Deparment says Deborah Congdon has been located and is safe.

CONCORD, NC — Police are looking for 60-year-old Deborah Congdon after she was reported missing earlier today.

A Silver Alert has been issued in connection to Congdon’s disappearance. She was last seen around noon Wednesday when her family says she got in their red 2014 Nissan Versa Note without their knowledge and took off.

Concord Police say Congdon has severe dementia and it is not clear where she was going.

She is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 120 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. Congdon was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve t-shirt with “Big Dog Bar” printed in black and white on the front, blue jeans and brown slip on sandals.

The vehicle Congdon is believed to be driving has a NC license plate BLN-1204.
