Temperatures across the entire region will warm above freezing Wednesday with highs in the 30s and 40s, scattered showers and drizzle will continue through the day. Slightly milder temperatures will return Thursday with on and off periods of rain. Total rain accumulations of around an inch are expected in Charlotte, with several inches possible in the mountains. The best chance for localized flooding will be along and north of i-40.
