BOONE, NC — Authorities with the Boone Police Department and Watauga County Sheriff’s Office have charged a 22-year-old man with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Frank Cromwell is charged with five counts of Felony First Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and four counts of Felony Second Degree Exploitation of a Minor.
The charges stem from an investigation into reports that were filed on February 21st.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Computer Crimes Unit also assisted with the investigation.
Cromwell has been placed under a $100,000 bond.
