HICKORY, N.C. –Police in Hickory are investigating an armed robbery at a local restaurant on Thursday night.
At about 9:20 p.m. on, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Salsaritas located at 944 2nd Street Northeast.
Witnesses say the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the manager go back to a back room of the business. The suspect fled the scene after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a mask, a black Nike hooded shirt with a red stripe, black sweatpants and gloves.
