Three Charged Following Charlotte Drug Investigation

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have charged three suspects with multiple drug related offenses after serving a search warrant on March 28th.

Police say six adults and four juveniles were inside the apartment on Nobles Avenue when officers served the warrant. Investigators say they seized 117 grams of Oxycodone, 163 grams of Heroin, 1,563 grams of Marijuana, three firearms and just over $2,400 in cash.

Carlos Armstrong, 26, Christina Broome, 31, and Tykari Brown, 22, were arrested as a result of the investigation.

Armstrong is charged with Trafficking Heroin, Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Broome is charged with Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the Sale of a Controlled Substance and four counts of Child Abuse.

Brown is charged with Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.
