CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Knight’s baseball season is back! Wilson was in Uptown Charlotte this morning getting us geared up for the kick off of the Knights’ 2019 season with their 7 game home stand beginning this Thursday night.
Joined by Knights’ mascot, Homer, Wilson went inside the BB&T Ballpark with General Manager Rob Egan and learned about some of the new vendors that will be feeding the fans this year. McAlister’s Deli, Circle K and one of Wilson’s favorite places…Sabor Latin Street Grill. He also went into the Knights’ team shop to check out some of the new items that fans will find.
The Charlotte Knights open up their 2019 season this Thursday night at 7:04pm against the Durham Bulls. And since it’s Thursday, fans can enjoy Thirsty Thursday specials with $3 domestic beers, $5 craft drafts and $1 small sodas. Get tickets at charlotteknights.com.
And be sure to say Happy 30th Birthday to Homer the Dragon! This Sunday, April 7th the Charlotte Knights will be celebrating his birthday and giving away Homer bobbleheads to the first 2,000 fans in attendance when they take on the Durham Bulls at 2:05pm.
