CMPD Asking For Help Identifying West Charlotte Armed Robbery Suspect
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for help identifying a man wanted for the armed robbery of a west Charlotte cell phone store.
The CMPD says the suspect entered the Boost Mobile store located at 2448 Freedom Drive shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday evening and displayed a gun while demanding money from the business.
The suspect was then seen walking across Freedom Drive toward Camp Green Street. He was described as a black male around 40 years old, with a bald head and goatee.
Witnesses say he was about five feet ten inches tall with a medium build and last seen wearing a black jacket with a green hood and dark colored pants.
